Trend setting for spring 2018. How to wear track pants and joggers.

Some of you may thinking, "I sport this look everyday.  I'm so ahead of my time".  Perhaps, or maybe you are just right on trend.  Either way, keep the track pants coming.  A trend like this could not have come at a better time.   There is no greater time in history for women to feel entitled enough to just wear their track pants to make a fashion statement.  We've earned this time to be comfortable and fashionable simultaneously.

If you're wondering how to refine this look and "own it", then here are a few suggestions;

You're going out with your girls for a nice dinner in downtown Oakville or the Toronto beaches, and maybe some dancing.  Pull out those cute casual joggers and throw on some heels and and off the shoulder sweater with big hoop earrings.   Ready, set, party!  Add one more accessory that will really intensify your stylish ensemble.  Another trend for ss2018 is the sheer socks.  Wear them with open toe pumps and you'll really turn heads.

If you aren't feeling so bold, try the simple day to day approach that will allow you to feel comfortable and fashionable without attracting too much attention.  Push up your cinched bottom joggers, and put on a fun pair of sneakers.  Sneakers are very popular now and will add to your style.   A playful print, or colour will really make the look come alive.  Don't stop there.  Throw on a moto jacket and scarf, and voila, a stylish, fun, casual look.

Some of you may be feeling left out because your work schedule doesn't allow for either of the above looks.  Here's one just for you.  Pair your button down shirt with a light weight blazer and your joggers with a pair of ankle boots, or pumps to alter your look.  It's a basic substitution of slacks for tracks.  The rest stays the same, with that one minor tweak.
