 The results are in and the Sotheby's auction is done.  Diana's original sweater had a starting bid of $50,000, expected to sell for about $80,000.   With 42 bidders, the sweater sold for 1.1 million.   Enjoy your piece of history.  

If you didn't know that the Princess Diana famous black sheep sweater is up for auction this fall, now you know.   Expected to fetch for over $50,000. Diana wore this sweater from the 80's to the 90's and always looked fabulous.    Canada's oldest knitting mill Parkhurst, has been creating a take on this sweater for several years, always selling out!
