The results are in and the Sotheby's auction is done.  Diana's original sweater had a starting bid of $50,000, expected to sell for about $80,000.   With 42 bidders, the sweater sold for 1.1 million.   Enjoy your piece of history.  

If you didn't know that the Princess Diana famous black sheep sweater is up for auction this fall, now you know.   Expected to fetch for over $50,000.
